At 34 years old, Shellie Blanks Cimarosti is an accomplished martial artist. She won the 1987 Jiu Jitsu World Championship and at age 14, earned a gold medal at the Junior Olympics. Shellie holds a fifth-degree black belt in tae kwon do and is a tae kwon do instructor and personal trainer to many, including business executives and celebrities. Shellie travels internationally training, instructing and demonstrating the world-renowned fitness technique Tae Bo®, created by her father, Billy Blanks. She loves to travel with her dad while visiting our troops overseas and assists her mom with "The Greater Love Campaign" in sending troops care packages. When not on the road, Shellie works in collaboration with administration, creative teams and staff at the Billy Blanks World of Fitness Center located in Westlake Village, California. Shellie also serves as a Director for the Billy Blanks Foundation.
Shellie thanks God everyday for her husband, Mark Cimarosti, and their new son, Rocco, born July 11, 2006. In addition, they have a toy Yorkie named Foxie who weighs 3.5 lbs. Her greatest joy lies in expressing her love for the Lord and assisting others in achieving their dreams. Shellie says, "It makes me happy to help people reach their goals and make a life change. It inspires me to see people happy and loving one another."
